Welcome to the 2010 THC Music Festival.  The following are important information for all festival attendees.  Please read carefully.  If you have any questions regarding the event please e-mail us at info@thcmusicfestival.com.  We hope you all have an amazing time at this years THC Music Festival.



Tickets

The outdoor main stage is for all ages.  Everyone ages 13 and up must have purchased a ticket to get in.  Ages 12 and up are free, at the outdoor stage, and must be accompanied by an adult 21 and over at all times. Both late night venues are for 21 and over only.  All sales are final.  No refunds on any purchase!



Festival Hours

THC Music Festival begins on Friday, August 20th, 2010 at 10:00 PM with late night shows at Alma's Only Bistro (12 S. Main Street, Alma, CO 80420) and South Park Saloon (24 N. Main Street, Alma, CO 80420).  On Saturday and Sunday, August 21st & 22nd, 2010 the festival gates open at 10:00 AM with the music starting at 11:00 AM.  The music ends at 11:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday.  There will be late night showcases on Saturday at both Alma's Only Bistro and South Park Saloon. There are very limited tickets available for the late night shows, so be sure to purchase the late night venue tickets separately.  32 hours of live music for the amazing low price!

Things to Bring

Hat, sunglasses and sunblock. Warm clothes for the evening, and rain gear just in case (It can snow any time of year at 10,578 ft). Low back chairs and soft collapsible stadium chairs; blankets or beach towels.



Parking

Parking is free in designated areas and on Main Street. Please do not block private driveways on Main Street.  Your vehicle may be towed if it's blocking a private driveway. For designated parking areas just look for signs, indicating festival parking, once you arrive to Alma. We also ask all attendees not to park on town side roads and to respects the local residents' privacy.



When You Get Here

If you arrive on Friday night, please go to either Alma's Only Bistro or South Park Saloon.  At the door you can turn in your ticket, that you purchased prior to the festival, to one of our THC Music Festival "Groove Patrol" staff for the appropriate wristband.  You must have a wristband for entry and re-entry to the festival throughout the weekend.  On Saturday and Sunday you can turn in your ticket at the gate for a wristband. Please make sure that our "Groove Patrol" staff puts on the wristband tight enough that it does not come off. Keep the wristband on throughout the weekend.  We will NOT replace lost or broken wristbands!

Pets

Alma is an extremely dog friendly town. However, because we expect a large crowd, and for the safety of children and adults attending, we kindly ask you to leave your pets at home.  For the safety of your pets DO NOT leave your pets in your vehicle or tied up outside of the festival grounds.



Prohibited Items

No outside alcohol. Any and all outside alcohol will be confiscated and thrown away (there will be plenty of alcohol at the festival). No Firearms and other weapons. No glass bottles or glass objects. No Footballs, Frisbees or any kind of projectile objects. No coolers, bikes, and skateboards. No illegal drugs and paraphernalia. No dogs or pets.



Altitude, Sun Exposure, & Weather
                                    
You will be in the highest town in North America at 10,578 ft (2 miles closer the sun). Please make sure to drink lots of water and wear sunscreen. Water and non-alcoholic are available at our food and beverage booths. Please watch for dizziness, fatigue, shortness of breath, upset stomach, poor vision and headaches that signal attitude sickness. More severe symptoms include difficulty breathing, coughing, confusion and the inability to walk in a straight line. If you get these symptoms immediately seek medical help by contacting any person in uniform or wearing a THC Music Festival “Groove Patrol” T-shirt. Medics are available during the entire festival. The weather is usually nice during this time of year; however, at 10,578 ft the weather can change real quick and it can even snow any time of year. So, be prepared and make sure you have warm clothes just in case.

Be sure to visit our information and merchandise booth located at the entrance of festival grounds to purchase official THC Music Festival merchandise. Stop by to view the message board or for any questions!



Miscellaneous

All festival alcohol must maintain and be consumed on festival grounds. Please DO NOT drink and drive. A shuttle will be available to get you to Fairplay and Breckenridge (see the official festival program guide at the event for shuttle information).
